SMS Banking Program Terms and Conditions

By opting into the SMS Banking Program ("Program"), you agree to receive text messages from Union State Bank at the mobile number you provide.


1. Message Types
Messages may include:
  • Welcome instructions
  • Account Setup Instructions
  • Card Activation Instructions
  • Fraud and security alerts
  • Appointment reminders
  • Customer service communications
  • Community Engagement Reminders

2. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity, alert settings, and interactions with the Bank.


3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details regarding your mobile plan.


4. Opting In
You may enroll in the Program by:
  • Providing your mobile number during account opening;
  • Enrolling through online or mobile banking;
  • Signing a consent form; or
  • Replying to a text message invitation
By opting in, you confirm that you are an authorized user of the mobile number provided.

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Union State Bank. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help.


5. Opting Out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying: STOP
After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from the Program, except as required to complete your opt-out request.

7. Supported Carriers
The Program may not be available on all carriers. Participating carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.


8. Mobile Number Changes
You agree to notify the Bank before changing or discontinuing your mobile number. Failure to do so may result in messages being sent to an unintended recipient.


9. Security
SMS messages may not be encrypted. Do not send confidential information such as passwords, account numbers, PINs, or Social Security numbers by text message.


10. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or otherwise authorized to use the enrolled account and mobile device.


11. Modifications
The Bank reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website at https://onlinebanking.unionstbank.com
